hot, hot, hot it was today. it was hot at work and hot outside. but i'm only going to talk about outside. call me crazy but i went for my training run in 104 degrees. it was good mental training for endurance, right? my goal was to run 5.5 miles but i only did 4 miles. i hit the wall and changed route for home at 3 miles. my pace was slower as the air was thick with humidity. but i got a good run in. i sweated a lot so i am sure i burned a lot of extra calories too. i like it hot but this was intense.
