training day number twenty


today's run was unique. i ran with a group in a bit of competition. there is a run club that does a weekly run downtown durham. the run starts at fullsteam brewery and ends there. i have been thinking about doing the run for weeks but today i did it. 


it is a 3 different runs; a 3-mile, a 4-mile and a 6-mile. i did the 3-mile as did most of the runners. it is billed as a run to support the local business and meet some new friends. i did the run, i bought a beer but i did not meet any new friends. oh well. i had a great run. i went for it and had a good time and finish. yea! 


plus i walked there and walked home. ~15 minutes each way.


it was hot but not as humid as yesterday. 


i love that i have the opportunity to get this exercise. thank you family!!!
